  • Chief Revenue Officer
    Samsar Resources was launched in 2020 by Mobility Impact Partners to create a profitable repurposed lithiumion battery circular economy. Through the use of lean operational logistics, product financing innovation, and battery pack redesign, we aim to unlock the residual value of lithium-ion batteries. Our mission is to help electrify the world, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create an ecosystem that extends lithium-ion battery use globally across all possible markets. We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer to expand our leadership team. Position Requirements We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our executive team. The CRO will be responsible for leading all revenue-generating functions within the company, including sales, marketing, and customer success. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy, driving enterprise sales, developing new market opportunities, and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a seasoned enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of closing large deals, a knack for missionary selling, and a deep understanding of industrial products. The CRO must also be adept at structuring business relationships that drive significant revenue, demonstrating experience with high-value financial transactions. Below is a brief description of the position responsibilities: Revenue Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive revenue strategies that align with Samsar Resources' business objectives and growth targets. Enterprise Sales: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals, focusing on securing large enterprise deals with new customers. Market Development: Identify and develop new market opportunities for repurposed batteries, showcasing their superiority over traditional lead-acid batteries. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers. Sales Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, setting clear objectives, driving performance, and fostering a culture of excellence. Customer Engagement: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by overseeing the customer success team and developing strategies to enhance the customer experience. Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to align sales, marketing, and product development efforts with overall company goals. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Bring an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, adapting quickly to market changes. Financial Acumen: Structure business relationships for mutual benefit, driving tens of millions of dollars in revenue. Must have a solid understanding of how to build a client story that financially ties our technology to the client’s business success. Sales Expertise: Strong expertise in missionary selling and developing new markets. Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage high-performing sales teams. Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Location: Must be based in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the battery industry, renewable energy, or related sectors is a plus. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. We are seeking an experienced Director of Cell Processing to expand our leadership team. Position Requirements We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded individual with previous operational management experience in lithium-ion battery cell design, manufacturing, processing, and qualification. The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with our business & technical development team to understand requirements for different customer applications. Below is a brief description of the position responsibilities: Lead processing operations for all incoming reusable NthLife™ battery pack cell supply Assemble and manage a diverse operations team with expertise in high throughput, automated screening of battery cell health including electrochemical parameters (capacity, impedance, etc) & mechanical properties Design, setup, & expand our pilot battery cell processing line that screen, sorts, bins, certifies, and packs repurposed battery cells of any form factor (cylindrical, prismatic, pouch) and chemistry Manage and operate a research and development processing line equipped with alternative diagnostic tooling (acoustic, impedance, magnetic techniques) that target increased processing rates for future high-volume production Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all steps in both pilot and R&D cell processing lines including data collection and assessment Establish strategy for deploying and maintaining all data associated to each diagnostic measurement within both the pilot and R&D processing line Guide direction for assessing & optimizing battery cell processing quality control including improvements to testing system integration, statistical process control (SPC) analysis, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Provide clear operational processing roadmap and strategies to support existing programs and new use cases, technologies, and applications identified through market needs Leadership Characteristic Requirements Accountability, Integrity, and Respect (Samsar core values) Ability to inspire the company and its people Capable of evaluating and deploying talent effectively Open, honest and direct communicator; confront issues head on High sense of urgency and results focused Ability to make complex decisions and connect the dots Relentless entrepreneurial spirit Works through others and leads by example Self -learner and self-directed Experience/Education Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent in a technical field (chemistry, materials, electrochemistry or related) 10+ years professional experience in lithium-ion battery technology operations (cell manufacturing/processing & or battery pack assembly) 5+ years in a senior leadership role Subject matter expert in lithium-ion battery cell manufacturing and operations for different cell architectures (cylindrical, pouch, & prismatic) A deep understanding of the repurposed battery cell ecosystem, which includes current challenges, possible solutions, and possible areas of innovation.   • Battery Technician

Our vision is to develop a connected energy ecosystem to amplify global electrification. We are seeking a Battery Technician for our battery cell processing facility to expand our team. Position Requirements We are looking for a technical minded individual with a desire to learn and grow in the fast-paced space of li-ion batteries. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Battery Team Lead to inventory, test, and prepare batteries for a downstream application. Below is a brief description of the position responsibilities (that include but are not limited to): Properly records and maintains all required battery specifications, testing results, charging activity, location of new inventory batteries. Responsible for logging time and materials, maintaining work orders, PMs and inventory tracking into computerized maintenance management system/software. Be able to use all specialty tools properly. Maintain and properly use the normal tools of the trade. Operate forklift in a clean, safe, and secure manner following all required safety rules for the job. Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies and any other safety procedures necessary to complete work assignments safely. Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality of service in all areas. Perform other general maintenance tasks as assigned. Ability to use MS Office and willing to learn other applications. Ability to communicate effectively. We are seeking an experienced Battery Technician Team Leader for our battery cell processing facility to expand our team. Position Requirements We are looking for a technical minded individual with a background in research and experience in the lithium-ion battery ecosystem. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of Cell Processing and the Operations Manager to supervise the day-to-day technical operations of our facility. Below is a description for the position responsibilities: Support in building and supervising the battery processing team Co-work in developing a lean process for testing, sorting & warehousing of battery inventory Supervise the safety, health, and well-being of the processing team by confirming responsible practices are used to protect them and their work environment Impact the culture to create an inclusive working environment where team members are engaged, feel valued, and are motivated to be strong contributors Proactively coach and mentor subordinate employees to increase their contribution Actively lead the technical team to contribute to the continuous process improvement Ensures 100% completion of required workloads within team territory by working with Technicians Assists in performing scheduled maintenance on equipment and recommends necessary repairs. Troubleshoots problems pertaining to breakdowns on customer equipment. Assists technicians in troubleshooting difficult repairs and demonstrates willingness to work alongside team members.
